Was macht man an einem Freitag Abend in Sopot, wenn man nichts anderes vorhat, und sich für denselben Abend Norah Jones im Rahmen des 44. Internationalen Sopot Musikfestivals für die Waldoper (Opera Lesna) angekündigt hat?
Genau: man geht die 15 Minuten dort hin, schaut ob's nicht noch 'n LastMinute-Ticket gibt - und schaut und hört sich die Sache mal live an.
Und wenn's auch manchen Zuhörern wegen des (immerhin trockenen!) Wetters etwas kühl wurde: Das Konzert war großartig!
Ok, mein Platz war relativ weit hinten - aber mit Hilfe eines vom Sitznachbarn geliehenen Fernglases war auch ich "ganz dicht dran". Fast so dicht wie die Fernsehkameras von TVN, die das Konzert im Fernsehen übertrugen (Siehe link zu "Rosie's Lullaby ").
So what do you do on a friday night in Sopot when you're not having other plans, and for the same night Norah Jones is expected to play the Forest Opera during the 44. International Sopot Music Festival?
Exactly: you just walk the 15 minutes there, see if there ain't a LastMinute-ticket left - and look and hear the whole thing live. And even if it was a little chilly for some listeners because of the weather (at least it didn't rain!): The concert was great! Ok, my seat was pretty far in the back - but with the help of my seat-neighbour's binoculars I also was "really close". Almost as close as the TV-cameras from TVN who broadcasted the concert on TV (Check out the link for "Rosie's Lullaby" from this very concert).
